Sonshine activities are fun fellowship times or service/mission projects offered to involve 1st through 6th graders.
Children's Bible Drill
Children's Bible Drill is for children grades K-6 and meets weekly at 6pm between the months of August through April. The purpose of the Bible Drill is to develop skills with the use of the Bible, grow in the knowledge of the Bible, and to apply it to everyday life.
Formal drills are held at the championship level in late April or early May. While we encourage children to participate in the drills, it is not a requirement for weekly attendance. Our only requirement is that children are there willing to learn!
The learning content depends on the age group:
Kindergarten - The focus is on learning the Books of the Bible and up to 10 memory verses. The purpose of this class is to introduce the children to the Bible and the Scripture. There are no formal drills for this class as it is strictly for learning.
Younger Children (Grades 1-3) - This age group will learn how to find the Books of the Bible and recite memory verses (up to 8) along with key passages (up to 10).
Older Children (Grades 4-6) - This age group fine tunes their skills with the Bible (or starts anew if they have no previous experience with the Bible Drill), locates the Books in the Bible, recites memory verses (up to 25), and locates the key passages in the Bible (up to 10).
The Bible Drill runs in three cycles:
Red Cycle (2024)
Blue Cycle (2025)
Green Cycle 3 (2026)
With each cycle are different verses and key passages of the Bible.

Children's Choirs meet on Wednesdays from 6-7pm.
King's Kids (ages 2-5) - Childcare area
Christ Kids (Grades 1-6) - 3rd floor multipurpose area
We are working on songs to sing in Sunday morning worship this summer.

Mission Friends - E111, Door 6 and to the right.
Girls in Action (GA's) - Grades 1-6 meet on 3rd floor
Royal Ambassadors (RA's) - Grades 1-6 meet on 3rd floor
Meet weekly on Sundays at 5pm.
